I spent over a decade working in the field of policy and research, politics and communications. At the time, it was a dream to be able to contribute to conversations that shaped society and how we lived. Through that experience I began to realize the toll the pressure of that work began to take on me. I began to feel like I never had enough time during my day, that my waking hours were solely dedicated on news and solving deep-seated problems and that joy and connection with the people that mattered most was severely lacking in my life. That’s when I decided to take a pivot. I left in search of something more. I doubled-down on my personal fitness goals and became certified to teach Barre and other-related group fitness classes. I deepened my connections with family and friends and made a pivot. That pivot also led me to creating a wellness community, Curated By Britt. Curated By Britt is a community designed for women to aid in their own wellness journey.

Bachelor’s degree with honours in Social Policy and Equity Studies (York University)
Master’s degree in Political Management (Carleton University)
Advanced Principles and Practice of Mindfulness Certificate (In-progress) (McMaster University)
Fully Certified Barre instructor (International Ballet Barre Fitness Association, Soulbody Fitness)
