Corporate Wellness Options: An Employer’s Comparison Guide

Corporate wellness can include movement, fitness access, mental-health support, financial education and changes to the way work is organized. Those services solve different problems. A company looking for a shared break during meetings needs a different proposal from one looking for confidential counseling or a gym benefit.

Start with the problem your team needs to solve

Write a short brief before comparing providers: who the service is for, the obstacle you want to address, when employees could use it and what a useful result would look like. Ask employees about their preferences. A large catalogue is not automatically a good fit, and a narrow service is not automatically too limited.

  • For optional movement during work: compare facilitated breaks and workplace classes.
  • For independent exercise: compare gym networks, studio access and reimbursement.
  • For mental-health care: compare appropriately scoped care and EAP services.
  • For workstation concerns: consider an ergonomic assessment alongside movement opportunities.

Compare the offer you would actually purchase

Use the same criteria for every proposal: delivery format, participant capacity, instructor contact, employee choice, scheduling, accessibility, administration and full cost. Live can mean a large broadcast or a small coached group; ask how the distinction affects feedback.

The provider cards below summarize public descriptions checked on October 15, 2026. They are an orientation, not a product test or negotiated quote. BarreWorkout publishes this comparison and is developing an employer movement offering. We do not receive a referral payment from the providers listed here.

  • Check availability near employees and in their working hours.
  • Distinguish included access from paid upgrades.
  • Ask what happens when an instructor, class or employee is unavailable.
  • Request comparable written scopes before choosing a lower-priced offer.

Where BarreWorkout may fit

Our employer offering is in planning. We are collecting interest in short workday movement, 30-minute barre classes and small coached groups. These are options to help shape the service, not a confirmed corporate timetable.

A focused shared session may complement an existing benefit. If employees primarily want a large gym network, clinical care or an extensive on-demand library, a provider designed around that need may be the better choice. Use our planning guides even if you decide another approach is right for your team.

Wellhub

Employer-sponsored access to a network of gyms, studios and wellbeing apps, with employee plan choices and some higher-package 1:1 sessions.

Price basis
Employer fee plus package-dependent employee upgrades. Public enterprise floors: Entry $1, Full $10 and Premium $50 per eligible employee/month; these are 'as low as' figures, not quotes for our buyer.
Consider it for
A workforce that values broad independent choice and has suitable local or digital options.
Ask before buying
Which locations and plans are included for these employees? What do employees pay? What are the minimums and contract terms?
How our planned offer relates
Potential complement for a shared workday session; we cannot match the network breadth or claim a universal price advantage.

ClassPass

Corporate access to fitness and wellness bookings; separate team and company packages.

Price basis
Pricing is behind an inquiry form. Page says charges apply to activated employee memberships, with possible extra fees and terms; obtain a written quote.
Consider it for
Employees who want choice among bookable local studios and services.
Ask before buying
Which locations, credits and booking limits apply? What happens on cancellation, inactivity or employee departure?
How our planned offer relates
Potential complement for an organized team session rather than a substitute for a studio network.

Wellable

Wellness platform and services including onsite/virtual fitness, Deskercise, Pilates and short 7–15 minute breaks.

Price basis
Services can be booked singly, bundled or subscribed to; exact comparable rates were not established in this research.
Consider it for
An employer wanting multiple wellness services with event coordination or a platform.
Ask before buying
What instructor continuity, adaptations, attendance reporting and coordination are included?
How our planned offer relates
Direct competition. A narrower barre focus must earn preference through demonstrated instruction and service, not a claim that short breaks are unique.

Burnalong

Live and on-demand wellness classes, programs and social/group participation features with employer support.

Price basis
Population-based corporate quote; public page did not establish a fixed employer price.
Consider it for
A distributed workforce seeking broad digital choices and asynchronous access.
Ask before buying
Which services, access features, live interaction and reports are in the actual package?
How our planned offer relates
Potential complement if a team wants a specifically scheduled barre experience. Do not characterize Burnalong as recorded-only.

Headspace

Core team licenses for self-guided mental wellbeing; its wider suite has separately scoped care and EAP products.

Price basis
Core team licensing and other package-specific commercial arrangements; compare the exact tier.
Consider it for
An employer prioritizing mental-health support or self-guided mental wellbeing.
Ask before buying
Is the purchase self-guided content, clinical care or an EAP, and what access and reporting are included?
How our planned offer relates
Movement can sit alongside this benefit. BarreWorkout is not an EAP, therapy service or replacement for mental-health care.

Strive Well-Being

Onsite and virtual fitness/stretching and broader wellness services, with coordination, promotion and reporting.

Price basis
Quoted services plus an administration fee; scope and frequency determine the proposal.
Consider it for
An employer wanting managed multi-service delivery, potentially across sites.
Ask before buying
What delivery staff, group size, support, adaptations and reporting are included in this scope?
How our planned offer relates
Direct managed-service competition. Corporate operating capability must be established before claiming our delivery is simpler or better.
